Ah well. So I have high BP & migraines. What's to be done? One way ticket to Switzerland? No, I think not.
I am losing weight (2 stones in 12 weeks) and I eat exceedingly healthily: I adore veggies, I have little fat in the diet, don't eat fried stuff, don't have sugary-stuff, don't add salt to anything, skimmed milk only... I do not have a reserved table at fast-food restaurants. I have 'naughties' as occasional treats. Jan/Feb 2010, my alcohol consumption is 1 glass of red wine. Despite the healthy food, I have pretty much battled with the fat all of my adult life. I enjoy exercise too, although at the moment I am not doing enough of it. To keep weight off me, I must be doing a couple of hundred miles a week on the bicycle as well as eating a low-calorie exceedingly healthy eating regime (1000 calories per day - go figure).
So I am a walking fat compost heap, filled with low-calorie, high-fibre food: of vegetable origin for the majority of it.
Que sera.
